We have been using these on everything from an IMS710HS built motor car through our Black and Blue race cars making north of 1400WHP. We found that the OEM coupler just couldn’t withstand the 30psi+ of pressure we wanted to run from these turbos. With the 5 ply reinforced and ringed coupler shown (Including IMS Spec race clamps) we have eliminated the main issue of the coupler just not being able to hold together.
